Best solution for IE control - ActiveX or somethnig else?

Hello

I need IE control for medium intensive graphis works. Control must be small
and no library dependent.

A will appreciate any suggestion about which language to use and which VS
version (I have VS 6 and VS 2003).

And also type of control - ActiveX or .NET control or other.
