Async http in VB6

Does anyone have an example of async http in VB6 using wininet?
I have async FTP working nicely but the implementation for http eludes
me for some ridiculous reason.

Yes, I have been referring to this site quite a bit. I have managed to
get the ftp side of things working from this article but http eludes me.
